We teach piano lessons differently!
Children are grouped by age and learn together. Each student has a keyboard. We meet for 45 minutes in groups of 4-6 students. The kids love to learn together!
Our Classes
Little Keynotes
Our program for learners aged 4-5, Little KeyNotes develops the foundations through song, games, and piano-playing.
Storytellers
Learners aged 6-9 will tell stories on the piano, developing their skills through creative and expressive approaches.
KeyNotes Play
KeyNotes Play is for learners aged 10+ and uses their sense of independent curiosity to engage and motivate.
Meet Your Teacher
Hello! I have been teaching piano lessons for over 20 years at my studio in Novato. I enjoy getting to know my students' unique personalities and seeing their faces light up when they learn something new! I’m so excited to teach small group piano classes using KeyNotes Music’s innovative and creative curriculum.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education/Music Therapy from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. I love to play music with others in my church, community, and family.
